Each year, Contra Costa Christian High School selects a graduating senior to receive the "Kanon Award". Kanon, κανών (greek) means a rod or straight piece of rounded wood to which any thing is fastened to keep it straight; a measuring rod or rule.
The award is given to the student who best embodies the characteristics and outcomes which CCCS faculty seek to develop in each student. Each student is on their own journey of academic discovery, spiritual growth, and personal development. It is our sincere hope that each student will continue to abound in their lifelong pursuit of excellence according to their purpose in Christ (2 Corinthians 9:8, Philippians 1:9-11, 2 Peter 1: 5-11).
